Polls

The National Centre for Social Research finds that of those who told it in May that they were likely to vote Leave, 11% did not actually vote.
For those saying they were likely to vote Remain, the non-voting figure was 19%

In the last few elections and referendums we’ve had a sudden swing towards the underdog on election day, and I suspect it’s entirely due to a constant barrage of opinion polls making supporters of one side complacent and the other more motivated.

It is currently illegal to publish polls while voting booths are open; in my opinion this should be extended to start several weeks before they open.
