Sometimes I feel strange twinges and pains in my legs when I’m walking. It comes around to running-day and I think “maybe I should have a few days off and let things recover”. I never do, of course, because
I’m a masochist I really like running.
But the usual pattern is that after a couple of minutes, the pain evaporates never to be seen again.
I thought last week I was cultivating a shin-splint. It was a bit uncomfortable to walk to work on Friday, so on Saturday I did the sensible thing and ran 5 miles, with no problems during or since. I don’t understand this…
